Unheard Voices Writers Programme
Everyone has a story. What’s yours?
Write a play and have your voice heard.
The Royal Court aims to support and develop writers whose voices are under-represented on British stages. Through Unheard Voices, we have developed playwriting groups and workshops to support and engage new writers and increase the diversity and representation of stories on our stage, bringing new experiences to our audiences.
Unheard Voices: Chinese and East Asian writers
This year the Royal Court worked with sixteen new playwrights during an 11-week playwriting group for writers of Chinese, East and South-East Asian descent.
We will be announcing the 2012 Unheard Voices programme in the new year, so please check back then for more information.
Unheard Voices is supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
