Paul Hamlyn Foundation

From 2007 to 2012, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation supported Unheard Voices, a nationwide project aiming to seek out and work with writers from communities without a voice or under-represented on the stage. In this project, the Royal Court worked with communities as diverse as young Muslim writers, BME writers in the West Midlands and Romany storytellers, offering them playwriting courses, numerous play development initiatives and significant opportunities for production. The Paul Hamlyn Foundation supported Unheard Voices as part of its programme to encourage innovative ways for people to enjoy, experience and be involved in the arts.
