In celebration of Caryl Churchill's 70th birthday, and in recognition of her long and successful association with the Royal Court, ten leading playwrights will direct one-off readings of their favourite Caryl Churchill play.

Set in the UK and the US, Ice Cream tells the story an American man and wife and an English brother and sister who are implicated in each other’s lives more than any of them would wish. An unsettling look at British attitudes to America and vice versa.
