CAPTIONED PERFORMANCES

Captioning is a way of converting the spoken word into visible text that provides deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people with access to live performances along with their family and friends.

Our captioned performances are also aimed at people for whom English is not their first language. We aim to have a captioned performance for every Jerwood Theatre Downstairs show. Captioned shows are provided by STAGETEXT.

AUDIO-DESCRIBED PERFORMANCES

Audio description is a way of capturing the visual elements of a theatre production, providing access to the arts for blind and partially sighted people. We aim to have an audio described performance for every Jerwood Theatre Downstairs show and when possible for Jerwood Theatre Upstairs shows. Audio description is provided by VOCALEYES.

Tickets
Tickets for Royal Court Theatre assisted performances are £12 with a companion at the same rate (excluding Posh and Jumpy at the Duke of York’s Theatre).

Tickets for Posh and Jumpy at the Duke Of York’s Theatre are £15 – £52.50.
